Courtney Callais was born and raised in Cut Off, Louisiana. Growing up she was constantly involved in the arts. Performing was her passion along with creating. After high school she pursued a degree at the University of New Orleans majoring in Film, Theater and communication arts. She then went on to meet colleagues interested in special Fx makeup. Starting in student films and haunted houses, It’s then she realized she could have a successful career without sacrificing creativity. Her resume includes AMC’s Interview with the Vampire, The Hunt, Palmer and We Have a Ghost.
